Again, please excuse me bringing up topics not related to your posting…but somehow anything mlb brewers related relates to AAA, AA..
Wondering what anybody thinks about Harden being a Cub….Hard to not like the competition going on.
As far as head to head competition…Cubs get the edge here with Harden against a righty Brewers lineup…249 BA and 307 OB% for Brewer righty hitters against opposing RHP.
And Sabbathia a lefty against a mostly righty Cubs lineup…304BA and 388
OB% for Cub righty hitters against lefty pitchers…
But, maybe i’m nit picking….plus Harden is a year and a half from arbitration…damn those cubs one upped us, but Harden is so darn fragile and Sabbathia is a locomotive.
But, Any lefty bats we can expect to see called up in September?
Not likely Carbo. If anything the Brewers should make a small push for Kenny Lofton and send Dillon down. I like Dillon and really don’t want to send him down at all, but a platoon in center would be sick nasty.
Gamel won’t be here any time soon unless something changes big time and he’s the only real lefty bat we have in the minors that’s major league ready.
Something that is related to the Minor League posting…
Eric Fryer is doing his best Mat Gamel impression. He is on FIRE!
What the? You could have mentioned Odorizzi pitched two scoreless innings man! I just checked it for the hell of it. Yeah Louisville!
