Jerry Crasnick from ESPN.com wrote an article today about some of the phenoms from the Cactus League. Manny Parra made the list for the Milwaukee Brewers.
Crasnick praises Parra for coming back from his rotator cuff injury very nicely last year. He says that Parra has 3 plus pitches, which will make it very hard for Milwaukee to keep him out of the starting rotation.
Or will it? Perhaps the organization would rather send Parra to Triple-A to get some regular work until he is needed because of someone else’s injury or ineffectiveness. I would much rather have Parra make the starting rotation, but I suppose that is well chronicled on the site. Here’s hoping that he continues pitching well this spring.
